Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2026
DayFig (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates dayfig.com, a collection of free US-focused date and time calculator tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use cookies and third-party services, and the rights you have over your data. We are committed to keeping your use of this site private and lightweight.
1. Information We Collect
DayFig is a no-registration tool site. We do not ask you to create an account, log in, or submit personal information to use any calculator. All calculations run locally in your browser, and the values you enter into our tools (dates, hours, payroll figures) are never uploaded to our servers.
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical data when you visit, including your browser type, device type, approximate region, pages visited, and referring URL. This data is aggregated and used only to understand site performance and improve the user experience.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage) to operate the site, measure traffic, and serve relevant advertising. The categories of cookies we use are:
- Essential cookies: required for the site to function (for example, remembering your collapsible-panel preferences).
- Analytics cookies: used by Google Analytics (GA4) to aggregate traffic statistics.
- Advertising cookies: used by Google AdSense to display and measure ads.
3. Google AdSense
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may learn more about how Google uses data when you use our site at Google’s Partner Sites policy.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this or other websites.
4. Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our content. GA4 collects aggregated, anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region. We do not use GA4 to identify individuals. Google’s privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request and disable GA4 tracking and personalized advertising on this site.
5. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
DayFig detects and honors browser Global Privacy Control signals. When GPC is enabled, we:
- Disable personalized ads — only non-personalized (contextual) ads are served via Google AdSense.
- Disable Google Analytics (GA4) tracking.
- Treat the signal as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined under California law.
6. Cookie Management
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality. To manage Google advertising cookies, use the Google Ads Settings page.
7. Your CCPA Rights (California)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
- Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Because DayFig does not require accounts and does not sell personal information to third parties, most of these rights are already satisfied by design. To exercise your right to opt out, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, or enable your browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — both are honored automatically on this site.
8. Canadian Privacy (PIPL / PIPEDA)
For visitors from Canada, we comply with applicable Canadian privacy principles. We limit collection to what is necessary for site operation, obtain consent through your browser settings, and do not transfer personal data for commercial sale. Canadian visitors may contact us to request access to or correction of any personal information.
9. Children’s Privacy
DayFig is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
Our site contains links to third-party websites (such as IRS.gov and official references). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
12. Contact Form
If you send a message via our contact form, the name, email and message you submit are transmitted to and stored by Web3Forms (web3forms.com) solely to receive and respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing, and we never sell, trade, rent or transfer it to third parties. You may request deletion of your submission at any time by emailing [email protected].
13. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please review our Terms of Service or reach out through the contact information on our About page or our contact form.
